2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Review and Price

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Review and Price – The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited showed a new, albeit familiar, look and new powertrain options thanks to a redesign in 2018. In 2019, the Wrangler Unlimited remained almost unchanged, with the exception of some soft adjustments in its security equipment and color options. With this model still fresh, we expect the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to be a transfer model.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Review and Price

Visually, we expect the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to remain unchanged. Basically, it will be the Jeep Wrangler 2020 with a wheelbase and 21.6-inch bodywork and two rear doors. Otherwise, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is virtually identical to the new generation Jeep Wrangler, which features new headlights and taillights dating back to CJ’s old days, a new grille, an easier folding windshield and aluminum doors. We hope all of these key features will continue unchanged in the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

The only new wrinkle in the Wrangler Unlimited lineup will not officially be a Wrangler model. That is the Jeep Gladiator 2020 medium pickup, which the car manufacturer will base on the Wrangler platform. The 2020 gladiator will feature the SUV-style from the back doors forward, but a truck case is in the rear. This will give you a great combination of legendary off-road Wrangler skills and the leading towing and payload capabilities in your class.

Inside, the new-generation Jeep Wrangler Unlimited obtained a simpler dashboard configuration with small circular vents, a legacy-inspired central dashboard, a three-spoke steering wheel with a divided bottom radius and classical-looking circular instruments. Despite being completely new, the new-generation Wrangler incorporated simple interior features, including a Uconnect 3 entertainment and entertainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen, eight-speaker audio system, Windows Cloth manuals and seats. Fortunately, the higher settings add more amenities, such as larger touchscreens, Apple display, Android Auto, navigation and more. We hope all of these interior details are transferred directly to the 2020 Wrangler Unlimited.

Under your hood, we expect the Jeep Wrangler 2020 to continue with the same engine line. This will include a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 285 horsepower and 260 lb/ft of torque. We also hope that the optional turbocharged engine of 2.0 liters with 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque will remain. Both motors will be paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive will remain mandatory.

Security used to take a back seat at the Wrangler, but the new-generation model picked up some optional advanced security extras, including blind spot monitors, parking sensors, frontal collision notices, cruise control Adaptive and automatic emergency braking. Of course, a rear view camera is standard. Although it has all this equipment, neither the IIHS nor the NHTSA have tried the current Wrangler Unlimited for security, but the high performance SUV’s like this rarely have a good performance, especially in the rollover tests. We expect all security items to be transferred to the 2020 Wrangler Unlimited without change.
